JOINT STAPLING DEVICE FOR OVEN

  COOKING, AND METHOD OF LAYING STAPLES.

  The invention relates to the technical sector of the lining and sealing joints of the doors of baking ovens. It is known to produce seals (1) comprising a tubular metal mesh (2) on which is woven a textile lining (3) of material capable of meeting the conditions of surrounding temperature. This assembly (2-3) is usually mounted or slipped around a metal wire (F) creating the support; the wire is established in a rectangular configuration constituting the frame for adaptation to the door frame of the baking oven. These seals have a closed configuration, in the forms of the frames (Pl) of the aforementioned doors (P), and are arranged to receive metal clips (4) intended to be inserted in openings (5) arranged on the peripheral edge of

the door (figure 1).

  These clips (4) have a configuration shown in FIG. 2, and thus comprise a U-shaped plate (4a), having an elastic deformation capacity, the ends (4b) of which are provided with hooks (4c) oriented in opposition and used for the fixing the clip to the metal frame (F)

joint support.

  Between their hook ends and the base of the clip is formed a constriction (4d) which comes into alignment after mounting the clip with the

  plan of the openings (5) of the frame.

  In practice, this type of staples has drawbacks, due to insufficient holding on the joint. The installation of the clip is not

  practical and there is a risk of deterioration of the textile lining itself.

  The aim sought after according to the invention was therefore to design a new stapling device of simple design, quick assembly, while ensuring

  a firm hold on the joint.

  According to a first characteristic of the invention, the stapling device comprises a plurality of staples which are positioned and hung on the metallic mesh of the joint and covered by a textile lining. According to another characteristic of the invention, the method of laying staples on the baking oven seal is remarkable in that the staples are arranged with at least one hook shape, being capable of being positioned and fixed on the trellis metallic during the continuous advancement of the

  trellis and its covering by a textile lining.

  These characteristics and others will become clear from the rest of the

description.

  In order to make the object of the invention more concrete, it is described with a

  non-limiting manner illustrated in the figures of the drawings.

  According to the invention, the stapling device comprises a plurality of staples (6) which can be positioned and hung on the wire mesh (2). Each clip comprises a non-closed diamond configuration (6a) with extensions (6b) (6c) perpendicular to the median longitudinal axis (XX) of the aforementioned diamond part of the clip. Said extensions (6b) (6c) are in axial alignment and are likely to come

  resting on the plane of the wire mesh.

  The invention contributes to improving the stability of the staples which are perfectly maintained between the textile lining and the mesh and through the mesh thereof. The staples can no longer move, and the fitting of the seal on the

  cooking oven door is facilitated.

Claims (2)

  -1- Stapling device for a joint for a cooking oven of the type comprising a wire mesh covered with a textile lining, characterized in that it comprises a plurality of clips (6) which are positioned and hung on the wire mesh (2) of the joint and covered by a textile lining (3).   -2- Device according to claim 1 characterized in that each clip comprises a lozenge configuration (6a) not closed with extensions (6b) (6c) perpendicular to the longitudinal median axis of the diamond part, said extensions (6b ) (6c) being arranged to take i 5 support on the wire mesh and ensure the positioning and stability of the clip. -3- Device according to claim 2, characterized in that the first extension (6b) has a hook shape (6d) penetrating the thickness of the lattice to provide a hooking zone with the mesh of the lattice. -4- Device according to claim 3, characterized in that the second extension (6b) has a loop-shaped end (6e) to come   resting on the visible face of the trellis.   -5- Method of laying staples according to claims 1 to 4   characterized in that the staples are arranged with at least one hook shape, being capable of being positioned and fixed on the trellis 2770892   metallic during the continuous advancement of the trellis and its covering by a textile lining.
