Abstract

The engine combines the effects of a traditional turbo-compressor and a double-action piston on a single axle. The power produced by the double action piston is transmitted through a connecting rod to a toothed crown wheel which transmits its motion to the cylinder compressor and turbine. The engine combines on a single axle the effects of a traditional turbo-compressor (1, 2) and a double-action piston (7), with the cylinder (3) in which the explosions take place connected to the turbo compressor assembly and turning at the same speed as it, with the end of the cylinder fitted with a drive pinion (6). The outside of the cylinder has exhaust gas ports (4) and a turbine (5) for recuperating the exhaust gas energy, while the piston inside the cylinder forms two combustion chambers, fed alternately through inlet ports. The power produced by the piston is transmitted through a connecting rod (9) to a toothed crown wheel which transmits its motion to the cylinder, compressor and turbine.
