Abstract

The method of conflict resolution operates in five stages. The existence of conflicts is determined on the basis of the network, planned journeys and restrictions. This information is displayed on a screen, and an object selected. A resolution method is then selected from a known list of resolution methods, and the response of the system determined as a function of the resolution method and the selected object. The response is shown as a time-distance graph.
