Abstract

The clasp for a watch bracelet comprises two parts, a support part (1) and a press part (3). These parts are connected at one of their ends by a pivot (5). The other ends (1a,3a) are fixed on the free ends of two parts to be connected. The support part comprises a flexing spring (9) which assists an extension of the presser part beyond the pivot in stable equilibrium open or closed positions. The presser has a slot (13), adjacent to the pivot, the dimensions of which enable the spring to pass through it when the presser is in the open position so as to no longer assist it.
