Abstract

 The present invention relates to a roof insulation panel with trusses comprising a parallel lepipedic core of insulating material of width corresponding to the spacing of the trusses, provided on the underside with a covering and reinforcement plate of width corresponding substantially at the center of the farms.

 A panel of the type defined above is known.

These known insulation panels intended for an insulation assembly for roofs with trusses, comprising trusses equipped with particular means, have edges suitably shaped. The installation of such insulation panels, either in the attic, or horizontally on the lower part of the farms, requires an alternating installation. This means that the farms and the panels are put in place alternately. However, it is not possible to place such insulation panels on existing farmhouses.

 However, it would be interesting to be able to install the insulation panels once the farms are in place, both in new buildings and in renovation work.

 The present invention aims to remedy these drawbacks and proposes to create an insulation panel provided with a covering plate constituting its decorative and possibly functional underside (the panel can be provided with electrical equipment for radiant heating), to allow the installation of such panels on installed frames, in new work or renovation.

 To this end, the invention relates to a panel of the type defined above, characterized by fixing lugs secured to the core and / or to the covering plate, these lugs rising along the long sides of the core. parallelepiped, above the covering plate to be fixed to the farmhouse, the covering plate covering the underside of the farmhouse and the side of the parallelepipedic core coming against the lateral face of the farmhouse.

 The panel according to the invention offers the advantage of being able to slide from below between two farms and to attach to the farms from above, by screwing, or nailing, or stapling. This installation can be done in a perfectly horizontal manner, compensating for any defects in the installation of a farmhouse or the play taken by the farmhouses, in the case of renovation works. This installation is very simple and very fast. The panels are presented under the farms then put in place and their hanging is done from above.

 As the assembly of the panel is done along the trusses at discrete points (that is to say in a discontinuous manner) or in an almost continuous manner according to the shape of the fixing lugs, the invention makes it possible to maintain a perfect spacing between the farms or to restore the correct shape of possibly deformed farms.

 The cooperation between the fixing lugs and the farmhouses makes it possible to consolidate the frame by bracing the farmhouses and joining them over their entire length.

 The adjustment play and the compensation of the inevitable deformations, sagging and deflections of the farms is compensated by the fact that each panel does not rest directly on the top of the covering plate against the underside of the farm but that it There is still some play, minimum, at the lowest point of the farms.

 According to FIG. 1, the invention relates to an insulation panel 1 composed of a parallelepipedic core 2 made of insulating material, in particular of insulating foam and of a covering plate 3, of rigid material such as plywood, a plasterboard.

 This underside covering plate 3 combined with the core of insulating material constitutes a rigid and light assembly.

 The panel 1 generally has an elongated rectangular shape, the length of which corresponds to that of a standard farmhouse or to a fraction of the length thereof or to a standard length, for example from 2 to 2.5 m.

 The length L of a panel is preferably a standardized length, for example 2 m or 4 m. The panels can be abutted along their short side 5, 105 depending on the lengths of trusses.

 The width f1 of the insulating core corresponds to the standard spacing of the trusses, that is to say 45, 60, 90 cm while the projection 31 of the covering plate 3 relative to the width of the insulating core 2 corresponds substantially to the half-thickness of a farmhouse as will be seen with the aid of FIG. 4.

 The panel 3 projects laterally from the insulating core 2, on the two long sides. On the other hand, the panel 3 and the core 2 are aligned on the short sides.

 The panel 1 is provided with hooking lugs 4 constituted in this example by strips, of sheet metal or of plastic, of which a part 41 is fixed to the core 2 and / or to the covering plate 3 and of which the 'other part 42 rises along the side 21 of the core 2 to overflow from the top 43. This part 43 is provided for example with holes 44 or slots for the passage of the fixing means (screws, nails, staples).

 The part 41 of the tab 4 is for example fixed to the upper face of the covering plate 3 by suitable means such as chemical means (gluing, adhesive bonding) or mechanical means (screws, staples, tips). The number of legs shown is limited and does not correspond to reality.

 Figure 2 shows an alternative embodiment of a panel 101 also composed of a core 102 and a covering plate 103. The panel 101 is only partially shown. However, the legs are formed in this case by an angle iron 104 placed along each of the long sides.

This angle iron 104 is constituted by a strip folded back to the square, a part 141 of which is applied against the upper face of the covering plate 103, between the insulating core 102 and the plate 103 and the other part 142 of which goes up the along the side of the insulating core 102 to extend beyond it through the part 143.

This part 143 is provided, in this example, with holes 144, distributed in two rows. This allows the passage of fixing means (screws, nails, staples) allowing practically a fixing at any point along the lower cross member of the farmhouse. The fixing lugs can here be profiles serving at the same time as stiffeners.

 According to the invention (FIGS. 1 and 2) the insulation panel comprises a covering plate 3, 103 which projects beyond the insulating core 2, 102 along its long edges in the form of an edge 31, 131.

 Thus, according to the first example, the plate 203 receives a fixing lug 204 in one piece, comprising a part 241 fixed on the top of the plate 203 and continuing with two lateral parts 242, 242 ', intended to raise the along the sides of the insulating core not shown in this figure.  The easiest way to assemble the panels with their fixing lugs is to make the fixing lugs captive using the glue plane that unites the insulating core to the plate.

 When the mounting brackets at an angle (without taking the profiles into account) are installed in the factory, the vertical branches exceed the thickness of the core, it is necessary to offset their positions in the direction of the length of the panels, one on two, a few centimeters, depending on the width of the legs, to allow stacking of the panels, turning them one in two.

 The fixing lugs can be here profiles serving at the same time as longitudinal stiffeners, which is very important to allow the roof overhangs, in particular for the installation of roofs in mountain climate; they can also serve as transverse stiffeners, in order to avoid any bending of the underside in the width direction. These fixing lugs forming stiffeners can be made of different materials and they can be fixed either on the insulation, in the thickness of the insulation, on the underside, in the longitudinal or transverse direction.

 FIG. 4 shows the detail, seen in section, of the installation of two panels 1A, 1B, for example in accordance with those of FIG. 1.

 These two panels are applied against the cross member 6 of the farmhouse, not shown completely. This FIG. 4 shows the clearance e which remains between the lower side 61 of the farmhouse 6 and the upper face of the edges 31 of the covering plates 3. This interval e corresponds to the possibility of level adjustment, so that the lower face of the covering plates 3 is perfectly horizontal, whatever the possible horizontality of the farms 6.

 The legs, when they are rigid, can also be mounted on the panels, on the building site: one simply pushes one of the branches 41 in the axis 2 directly into its junction plane with the plate 3 (Figure 4).

 The number of tabs used depends on the weight of the panel, its flexibility and the condition of the farms. For renovation work, it is particularly interesting to be able to choose on the site, the location of the legs on the panel.

 The connection between the tabs 4 of the panels 1A, 1B and the farmhouse 6 is represented by lines 7 representing screws, nails, spikes or staples.

 This installation is done in a simple way.

When the level of the panel is adjusted, it suffices to nail or screw the parts 43 of the legs; nailing can be done, for example, pneumatically. If the tabs 4 are formed by relatively thin sheet metal strips, it is possible to nail them or staple them pneumatically without these tabs having to be pre-perforated for this.

 It is also possible to screw.

 Without departing from the scope of the invention, the tabs for fixing the panels to the trusses can be made of any perforated or non-perforated material, rigid, flexible, extensible, without this list being limiting, and articulated, foldable, removable in part or in full, to allow stacking of the panels at the end of manufacture. In addition, the insulating core may have on its sides, U-shaped housings for example, allowing fixing lugs of the same male shape, including the profiles, to come to be housed there, to hold the panels .

 The fixing lugs linked to the panels are fixed to the horizontal or inclined branches of the farms or to any other structural element, by any appropriate means.
