Abstract

Cette barre d'anti-soumarinage est destinée à limiter les déplacements exagérés vers l'avant, du bassin de l'occupant du siège et, par voie de conséquence, préserve ledit occupant des lésions abdominales. Cependant, la proéminence créée par la barre d'antisoumarinage à la surface du siège nuit au confort de l'utilisateur et ne permet pas un positionnement optimal de ladite barre. C'est pour remédier à cet inconvénient qu'il a été proposé des systèmes de déploiement de la barre d'anti-soumarinage actionnés par exemple par le déclencheur pyrotechnique du prétensionneur de ceinture. Un exemple d'un tel système est décrit dans la publication DE3631881. Néanmoins, ces systèmes ne permettent pas de contrôler efficacement la pression résultant, au niveau des fesses de l'occupant, lorsque le bassin de ce dernier vient s'écraser, lors d'un choc violent, sur la barre d'anti-soumarinage, ce qui peut provoquer des lésions.To overcome this drawback, it has been proposed to modify the structure of the seat frame by adding a transverse bar located near the front part of said frame, and hereinafter called the anti-submarining.
