Abstract

The mounting supports an object, e.g. a film camera, in a required position, using a foot (1) secured to the dashboard and a mounting plate (2) for the object.The foot and the mounting plate can be secured together via fixings, or a ball-and-socket joint (4), which allows the mounting plate to be pivoted and rotated relative to the foot. The foot and the support plate may each have self-adhesive surfaces (1a,2a) for securing to the dashboard and securing the supported object respectively
