Abstract

The stand has a floor (1) supporting rows of seats (2). The floor is supported by a frame consisting of beams (4) and cross pieces. The stand has hinged sections. Each section of the stands has a beam (6,10) supporting the floor. The beam is divided into two upper (10) and lower (6) sections which are hinged. Each section forms a polyhedron which can be deformed (6,8,14,16) which contain at least part of the two sections of the beam. The lower section is hinged to an extending cross piece (12,14) and the other is hinged to a telescopic device (16) which is also hinged and is supported by the frame.
