Abstract

The waste paper basket comprises a vertical upright (3) and a waste reception tank (1) having an opening (2) in its upper part. The tank is pivoted in its lower part on the upright (4,5). The tank has on its rear surface a projecting part (7) forming a pocket which opens downwardly and by which the tank can be placed on a gripper of a lorry lifting and tipping handler. The upright has a hollow (8) for receiving the projecting pocket when the tank is mounted on the upright in the use position. A cover (6) is engaged in the upper part of the upright.
