Abstract

The packaging comprises two vertical parallel walls (1) connected by two transverse vertical walls (4). Two horizontal panels (5,6) are joined to the upper edge of the vertical walls by a folding line. The panels have tabs (8) projecting from their free edge parallel to the folding line which hold them closed. One tab is engaged in a slot in the lower panel (5) and the other tab is pressed against the internal surface of the wall (1). The bottom panel is fixed to the transverse walls by two triangular parts pivoted by folding lines inclined at 45 deg to the panel side edges. These triangular parts when folded form a gusset under the lower panel. A band (11) perpendicular to the panel side edges is cut from the panel to which it is attached by one end. This band forms a handle.
