Abstract

Standard envelopes, 114 by 162 mm and 110 by 220 mm, are obtained from a standard sheet 210 by 297 mm without using a cutter. One fold (A) is made onto a second fold (B) and held by gluing. This is followed by a third fold (C). A part (G) is positioned and held on to further parts (H & I). There is a site (F) for gum or an adhesive strip. A flap (E) is folded over for closing and the envelope is perforated (X) to assist in opening.

Description

The present invention relates to a folding for making envelopes of standard format, 114x152 and 110x220, in a sheet of standard format 21x29.7, without cutting of any kind.

The envelopes are traditionally shaped by cutting, which causes payment costs and therefore losses.

The device according to the standard invention overcomes this drawback. It comprises in effat according to a first characteristic a folding studied so that no use of a sharp or cutting object is required.

Only the use of glue for shaping brings it closer to traditional shaping.

According to particular modes this realization.

Folding is carried out in several stages and differently depending on the implementation. Folding can be done manually, using a template, or mechanically, which allows simultaneous operations. The envelope can be closed either with gummed glue or by adhesive tape.

The accompanying drawings illustrate the invention.

The figure 'represents the first pnase of the folding of the first implementation.

Figure 3 shows the comolete pnase of the folding of the second implementation.

With reference to these drawings, the device comprises rsspectively for the first implementation, a folding of A on 3 maintained by glue in D. Then a lace piece of L.

Part G is then positioned to give the final shape of the first implementation cm.

F indicates the location of the gummed glue or d- the adhesive strip.

E designates the folding for closing the envelope.

X denotes the dotted cutout on the side of the envelope for ease of opening.

In the second implementation, a first folding of K and J, then of L on K and J maintained in M and and @. All giving the final shape of the envelope.

0 designates 11 location of the glue as or of the adhesive strip.

P indicated the folding to close the envelope.

Y denotes the cutting with dots on 13 sides of the envelope for ease of opening.

The device according to the invention is particularly intended for industrial use of making envelopes.

1) device for folding standard size envelopes 114x162 and 110x220 in a standard format sheet 21x29.7, without cutting of any kind using a sharp or cutting object, characterized in this tool comprising in Figure 1, a folding of A on 3 maintained by glue e @, a folding of G, the part G coming to give the definitive form of the first implementation according to FIG. 2, F stressing the location of the gummed colla or of the adhesive tape, ~ being the folding for the closure of the envelope, <being the cutout dotted for ease of opening. 2) Device according to claim <characterized in that it comprised Figure 3 a folding of @ and J, then of L on K and J maintained by glue in t and @, giving the final shape of the seconda put in @ @uvre, C designating 1 location for the gum glue or the adhesive tape, p being the folding for closing the envelope, Y being the dotted cutting to facilitate opening. 3) Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the use of adhesive for shaping is required. 4) Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the use of another sickle format leads to the same result.  D) Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the use of papers of different grammages and different colors is required. 6) Device according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized in that shaping other than the standard formats leads to the same result.
