Abstract

The dummy has a mushroom shaped section (1) with baby's teat (5) protruding through a hole in the base. The section has a screw thread (2) along its upper end, which screws into a mating section. A ring is screwed into the upper section with a protruding part (6). The two sections are sealed by a sealing section (9). There is an internal support (8) in the dummy holding a music box (7). Unscrewing of the two sections moves the screw protrusion allowing the musical box to operate until stopped by counter-rotation.

DESCRIPTION
The present invention relates to a musical pacifier to facilitate sleep in young children.

 When the young child, asleep, misplaces his traditional pacifier, he immediately starts to cry. Therefore, the mother must intervene to give it back.

 Some of these pacifiers have a rattle, but to get the sound they emit, you have to shake them. Consequently, if the child loses it during his sleep, he may have little chance of finding it. Other pacifiers have a fluorescent part, but if one of them is under the sheets, the result will be similar.

 The device according to the invention overcomes these drawbacks. Indeed, it comprises a molded plastic mushroom-shaped with a thread on the upper part comprising on its diameter three self-locking hinges. The lower part of the molding is convex in shape (to prevent the child from choking) with in its center a teat (rubber, silicone, physiological ...).

 Inside the molding is a musical boot which rests on a support and which is triggered by pressing a stop if killed on the internal face of the stopper which is itself screwed onto the molding, thus allowing the continuity of the melody.

 Thanks to this device, the child can, in case of loss, quickly find his pacifier and go back to sleep in peace.

 According to particular embodiments - the plastic molding can be carried out in a single operation, by injection.

 With reference to these drawings, the device comprises a mushroom-shaped molding (1): made of plastic molded in a single injection operation.

 The upper part of this molding (1) has a thread (2) which includes three self-locking hinges (3) on its diameter to prevent the plug (41 from being completely removable).

On this molding (1) fits a plug (4) with screw thread with a stop (6) on its internal face and a seal (9) to allow sterilization of the pacifier.

 A cylindrical musical box (7) is triggered by a simple pressure on the stop (6). It is embedded inside the mold (1) and placed on a support (8) which has three functions - support for the musical box.

 When the user rotates (clockwise) with the stopper (4), the stopper presses on the musical box (7) and instantly triggers a continuous melody. This only stops if the user unscrews the plug (4).

 By way of nonlimiting example, the musical lollipop will have approximate dimensions of 5.5 centimeters in height (pacifier included), a diameter of 3.5 centimeters and a weight of approximately 25 grams.

 According to a variant not illustrated, the plug can be fixed with a more flexible part on its external face. So the older child can press and start the melody himself.

 The device according to the invention is particularly intended for young children to facilitate their sleep.

Claims (4)

 1) Device for a pacifier containing a musical box (7) which is triggered by screwing the cap (4) by means of a stop (6) located on the internal face of the cap (4). This cannot be completely removed by the presence of three self-locking devices (3) which are located on the upper diameter of the molding (1).  2) Device according to claim 1 characterized so that the plug (4) is not completely unscrewed from the molding (1) thanks to the three self-locking hinges (3): (so that the child can not extract the contents of the pacifier ).  3) Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the lower part of the molding (1) is of convex shape, to prevent the child from choking.  4) Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the seal (9) is located on the inner face of the plug (4), allowing the sealing of the pacifier during sterilization.
