Abstract

An apparatus for improving leg suppleness and leg spreading, consisting of four rails (3) interconnected by hinges (6, 7) which are supported by a threaded rod (8) held by two nuts (9). The hinges are fastened on two square tubes (5) into which two supports (11) with handles (10) may be inserted. Two plates (1), each having four wheels (12) are movable along the rails joined together at their ends by abutments (2). At first, the supports are grasped so that the body weight is borne by the legs as the carriages are controllaby and deliberately moved. As with all fitness apparatuses, excessive or unsupervised use is not recommended.
