Abstract

The invention relates to a method for the hot transfer of a photocopied reproduction from a transfer sheet (3) onto a surface (4), characterised in that it includes at least one of the following preparation steps, carried out before the hot transfer step: - removal of the irregularities, - deposition of a size forming a nonporous binding film, - deposition of a layer of material of white or white-derived colour. The method may furthermore include, after transfer, an insulating treatment which allows subsequent deposition of a layer for protection against external attack. The invention also relates to a special press including an attached elastomer layer (2) and to products decorated using the method.

- une surface (4) poreuse sera recouverte d'un apprêt qui formera une pellicule d'accrochage non poreuse, afin d'éviter tous les problemes dus à la capillarité du support,
- une surface (4) colorée devra être recouverte d'une couche de matière de couleur blanche, ou dérivée du blanc, afin d'avoir un fond blanc, nécessaire à toute reproduction photocopiée.
