Abstract

L'invention concerne un outil perfectionné de forage du sol, notamment du type à molettes. Il comporte un corps d'outil auquel sont fixés des éléments coupants réalisés d'une seule pièce avec des dents (125) disposées en rangées circonférentielles. La crête d'attaque du sol de chaque dent présente un évidement plan (135) et une partie à nervure de guidage (137). Une matière (141) résistant à l'usure est appliquée sur la crête de façon que l'épaisseur (T) dans la zone de l'évidement (135) soit supérieure à l'épaisseur t en tout autre point de la dent. Domaine d'application: outils de forage de puits de pétrole et de gaz, etc.
