Abstract

The invention relates to a device allowing a piston (3) to be compressed against a spring (4) in a sleeve (liner) when water is converted into ice. It consists of a sleeve, closed at both ends and containing a piston (3) formed with piston rings (6) to provide sealing, and of a spring (4). An expansion indicator (5) makes it possible to perceive that the water has frozen.
