Le dispositif de liaison masque-casque tel que connu à ce jour est du type représenté à la figure 1. Ce dispositif de liaison est formé de deux pinces 3 disposées de part et d'autre du casque, respectivement du masque, lesdites pinces formant crochet 4 étant destinées à venir se verrouiller à une de leurs extrémités dans un évidement 15 du casque ménagé à cet effet. L'autre extrémité de la pince 3 est maintenue solidaire du masque 1, par exemple au moyen d'éléments 14 vissés sur le masque 1. L'élément 4 formant crochet de la pince 3 est monté mobile sur un corps 5 de ladite pince par l'intermédiaire d'un ressort et d'une tige de liaison 7 disposée dans le ressort entre le crochet 4 et le corps 5, de manière à permettre un déplacement axial du crochet 4 par rapport au corps 5 en fonction de la morphologie du porteur de masque. Le détail de la réalisation d'une telle pince est fourni à la figure 2. Le corps 5 de la pince 3 comporte donc un alésage axial traversant et est monté solidaire, à une de ses extrémités, du crochet 4 et, à son autre extrémité, d'une chape 8 au moyen d'une pièce de liaison 10. Un ressort désigné par 6 dans la figure 2, bien que non représenté, est disposé dans l'alésage axial du corps 5. A l'intérieur de ce ressort est disposée une tige de liaison 7 entre le corps 5 et le crochet 4. Cette tige de liaison, qui fait saillie du corps 5 à l'extrémité commune crochet 4 / corps 5, comporte à cette extrémité saillante un alésage traversant qui vient en regard de deux perçages traversants du crochet 4 de manière à permettre, par l'introduction d'un axe dans lesdits perçages, la solidarisation crochet 4/corps 5. De ce fait, lorsqu'on exerce une traction sur le crochet 4, la tige de liaison 7 se déplace à l'intérieur du corps 5 en direction du crochet 4 pour faciliter le verrouillage du crochet 4 dans un évidement du casque et ramène automatiquement et élastiquement le crochet 4 dans sa position initiale par l'action du ressort. A l'autre extrémité du corps 5, ce dernier présente également deux perçages traversants constitués par deux oreilles du corps 5, ces perçages étant disposés en correspondance de perçage de la pièce de liaison 10 de telle sorte que cette pièce 10 est montée à rotation sur ledit corps 5. Cette pièce 10 est ellemême montée solidaire d'une chape 8 qui reçoit, de part et d'autre, des organes 14 formant capot qui, une fois assemblés, vont pouvoir venir se verrouiller sur l'un des rebords du masque 1.The mask-helmet connection device as known to date is of the type shown in FIG. 1.
