Abstract

The invention relates to a method enabling the ridge of a roof to be covered, while connecting the two sides. This device consists of a tile connected to a half-round element (1) which covers the ridge of a roof, of a reinforcement (2) which improves the rigidity, of a bevelled piece (3) on the other end of the half-round element (1) which rests on the tile of the other pane (slope), of a join (4) embedded in the bevelled piece and resting on the tile of the other pane for good sealing, of a run-off (5) for channelling the rain (water) and of a covering piece (6). The method according to the invention is intended for covering the ridge of a roof.

Description

La présente invention concerne une modification à apporter sur les tuiles mécaniques, celles du faite de la toiture
Les faîtages sont traditionnellement réalisés à l'aide de fai- tières demi-rondes clouées ou scellées les unes au bout des autres ; ce procédé demande un temps de réalisation important et quelquefois des ennuis de scellement par rapport à la temperatu- re extérieure
Le dispositif selon l'invention remédie à ces inconvénients I1 comporte un rallongement en demi-cercle au niveau supérieur de la tuile permettant d'enjamber le faîte donc de le recouvrir et de redescendre sur la tuile de l'autre versant
Cette tuile comporte donc - une partie existante d'origine - un recouvrement qui enjambe entièrement le faite et redescend jusqu'au niveau supérieur de la tuile du versant opposé
Cette invention ne modifie en rien la pose des chevrons et des litteaux
Les dessins annéxés illustrent l'invention - la figure n01 représente la tuile de face, - la figure n02 représente la tuile en coupe
En référence à ces dessins , la tuile comporte un demi-cercle rond (1) en rallongement de la partie supérieure de la tuile pour enjamber le fate, un renfort (2) à la base de l'arrondi donnant un meilleur raccordement en haut de la tuile pour permettre une meilleure résistance à la manipulation et aux intempéries, un biseautage (3) pour que ce procédé puisse être employé sur diverses inclinaisons de toiture ; ce biseau pourra être équipé éventuellement d'un joint (4) pour parfaire l'étanchéité, d'un écoulement (5) sur l'arrondi du demi-rond et en continuation sur la tuile pour permettre à l'eau d'être canalisée et éviter toutes fuites intérieures qui permet de canaliser les quelques gouttes d'eau qui pourraient y pénétrer, d'un recouvrement (6) venant s'adapter sur l'écoulement et permettant l'étanchéité
En élément complémentaire de la tuile faîtière constituant le dispositif illustré dans la coupe, la tuile du versant opposé pourra avoir une portée supérieure plane de façon à faciliter la pose de l'invention et à accroître l'étanchéité
