Abstract

The invention relates to an economical method of producing a commode in a synthetic material by injection into a mould designed for this purpose or by using a pre-existing mould originally designed for making leisure or garden armchairs. The mould is modified in such a way that the moulded chairs have the features of a commode, and in particular: a hole in the seat for liquid and solid waste to pass through and a securing system using guides or the like for attaching a pot vertically beneath the hole in the seat.

DESCRIPTION
The present invention relates to the manufacture of a commode chair by injecting plastic or synthetic material into a mold produced for this purpose.

 A commode chair (synonyms: pierced chair or wardrobe chair) is an armchair that acts as a hygienic seat so that the user can do his natural needs, while sitting, without leaving his seat.

 The characteristics of this seat essentially consist of a hole in the seat allowing the passage of materials and a bucket fixed under the seat, directly above the hole, for the collection of urine and stool.

 Traditionally, commode chairs are designed by fixing more or less padded elements (perforated seat, backrest, armrest cuffs, bucket) on a wooden frame or, more often in metal tube. A system, generally consisting of two slides fixed to the chassis, makes it possible to easily position the bucket under the seat, in the appropriate place.

Finally, these chairs can be fitted with footrests or with casters and push handles.

 The object of the present invention is to produce a frame, in one or more parts, of molded synthetic resin; ltorigina- -lity of this manufacturing process is that it requires the use of a pre-existing mold designed, originally for the manufacture of leisure armchair (garden chair).

 If the mold is still used for the manufacture of garden armchairs, the mold modifications must be temporary and therefore removable. If it is a reformed mold, the modifications may be final.

The modifications to the mold initially used in the manufacture of garden (or leisure) armchairs will aim to give the subsequently manufactured armchair the characteristics of a commode and in particular:
- a hole in the seat to allow the passage of materials,
- a fixing system for the hygienic bucket,
- a possible possibility of adapting accessories such as footrest ~ rollers, push bar.

 The commode could be made from a specially designed mold. The originality of this present invention is to very significantly reduce the costs of making the mold.

 The commode belongs to the medical field and it is one of the contributing elements to the maintenance at home of approved people.

1) The present invention is characterized in that it allows the manufacture of commodes in plastic or synthetic material by injection into a mold designed for this purpose. 2) Invention according to claim 1), characterized by the possible use of a pre-existing mold. 3) Invention according to claims 1) and 2), characterized in that  the mold is modified in such a way that the subsequently molded armchairs will have the characteristics of a commode. -4) Invention-accordinglM e ~ any ue of the preceding claims characterized in that the mold modifications are temporary and removable in the event that the mold continues to be used, alternately, for the manufacture of garden chairs. 5) Invention according to any one of the preceding claims, characterized by the very significant lowering of the costs of making the mold and, consequently, of commode made by this method.
