Abstract

The present invention relates to a cardboard package for fragile objects, and the use of such a package. The corrugated cardboard package for fragile objects requiring protection against impact during transport is characterised in that it comprises a corrugated cardboard box (1) of determined thickness, in which is arranged a pair of shock-absorbing bellows (24), each consisting of a sheet of corrugated cardboard of determined thickness, comprising a cutout allowing the object (5) to be protected to be fitted into an opening consisting of the lateral strips (22, 23) of the cutout, which holds the object (5) laterally, this cutout allowing the formation of shock-absorbing means (211, 210, 21, 20) near the bottom of the box, the said package furthermore comprising upper padding (3) allowing the top part of the object (5) to be packaged to be pressed into determined areas.
