Abstract

The invention relates to the use and application of two extracts, one of them animal: gonads of echinoderms such as sea urchin, starfish and holothurian. The other extract, vegetable, drawn from the plant and most especially from the fruit of Hibiscus esculentus of the mallow family, originating from Asia, is edible and hence non-toxic. It is an amber-yellow, viscous liquid obtained by boiling or pressing which has enriching, anti-irritation and anti-ageing properties. Alone, separately or in combination with other products, the extracts supply, in the case of sea urchin: vitamins and trace-elements including iodine. In the case of Hibiscus esculentus, its use leaves the skin smooth, satiny and radiant; the same results are obtained on the body, around the eyes, on the hands and on the hair.
