Abstract

Such a support for display and for presentation of articles is in the form of a "basket", the peripheral wall (1) of which consists of a sheet of translucent material and supports flattened internally onto it, at least one lining (9) made of sheets of material which are translucent in the case of the front sheet (10) and opaque in the case of the rear sheet (11) incorporating a display (12) arranged facing the front sheet so as to be visible from outside the peripheral wall, this lining (9) including, in addition to these two sheets, a rear reinforcing sheet and being held against the inside of this peripheral wall by means of two horizontal plates (4, 7) engaged in this basket, separated by a vertical strut (6) in such a way that the lower plate (4) is situated in proximity to the edge of the base (2) of the peripheral wall and is applied against an internal reinforcing strip (3) which this edge includes and that the upper plate (7) is situated below the upper edge of the peripheral wall a defined distance from this edge so as to form the bottom of the upper receptacle (8) for the articles, the lower plate (4) moreover being shaped to serve as a bottom for placing ballast (5) for holding this support in vertical equilibrium position.

La présente invention se rapporte à un support d'affichage et de présentation d'articles, tels que, notamment, des journaux, revues ou similaires. Plus particulièrement, elle concerne un tel support sous forme d'un récipient, du genre "corbeille", à paroi translucide permettant de rendre visible une ou plusieurs affiches plaquées sur l'intérieur de celle-ci de manière interchangeable à la demande, cette "corbeille" comportant en outre un compartimentage interne permettant la pose d'un lest dans la partie inférieure de celle-ci et délimitant un réceptacle supérieur pour les articles ou autres produits devant être présentés au public. Claims

1.- Support for displaying and presenting articles in the form of a container

of the "basket" type, characterized in that its peripheral wall (1) is made up of a sheet of translucent material and supports, internally pressed thereon, at least one liner (9) made of sheets of translucent material for the front sheet ( 10) and opaque for the back sheet (11) incorporating a poster (12) arranged facing the front sheet to be visible outside the peripheral wall, this folder (9) comprising, in addition to these two sheets, a back sheet reinforcement and being held against the inside of this peripheral wall by means of two horizontal plates (4, 7), engaged in this basket, and separated by a vertical spacer (6) so that the lower plate (4) is located near the base edge (2) of the peripheral wall and is applied to an internal reinforcing strip (3) that this edge has and that the upper plate (7) is located below the upper edge of the peri wall spherical at a determined distance from this edge to provide the bottom of the upper receptacle (8) for articles, the lower plate (4) being further adapted to serve as a deposit base for the ballast (5) for maintaining the vertical position of balance of this support.

2.- Support according to claim 1, characterized in that it is provided in cylindrical or frustoconical shape or in the form of a parallelepiped of square, rectangular or polygonal section.

3 .- Supportselon according to claim 1, characterized in that each poster support shirt (12) consists of two thin sheets, one (10) of translucent material and the other (11) of opaque material , and a reinforcing sheet (13) made of material identical to that constituting the peripheral wall (1), the poster being placed between the thin sheets and the reinforcing sheet being designed to be placed on the side of the plates (4, 7).

4 .- Support according to claim 3, characterized in that the thin translucent sheet (10) is made of translucent PVC 0.3 mm thick, the opaque thin sheet (11) of white PVC 0.2 mm thick and reinforcement sheet (13) made of translucent polypropylene 1 mm thick like the peripheral wall (1) of the "basket" forming this display and presentation support for articles.

5 .- Support according to claim 1, characterized in that the spacer (6) between the plates can be constituted by a rod of round or square section or by a profiled piece whose section is in the form of a cross.

6 .- Support according to claim 1, characterized in that the spacer (6) consists of two strips of rigid material split longitudinally up to half their length and assembled in a cross by penetration of their unsplit part in the slot on the other to provide four compartments between the trays to accommodate the ballast (5).

7 .- Support according to claim 1, characterized in that the plates (4, 7), as well as the spacer (6), cruciform section, and the strip (3) of internal reinforcement of the base edge of the "baskets" are made of corrugated plastic cardboard known commercially as AKYLUX.
