Abstract

The present invention relates to a rigid expandable belt of the type comprising a main belt part (11) fitted with a fastening means (23), characterised in that the belt includes a sliding part (15) which is able to move between a rest position and a plurality of deployed positions, by sliding inside a sheath (14), so as to allow the said belt to fit around a variety of waist sizes whilst retaining a certain degree of tension.
