Abstract

The invention relates to a device for insulating, from heat or from cold, containers containing drinks or other liquids. The dimensions of the device are variable so that it can be easily fitted to different commercial patterns of bottles, which provides, on the one hand, better insulation and, on the other hand, minimum bulk. It consists of a hollow cylinder (1) made of flexible and insulating material. The lower end of the cylinder is closed by a bottom (2). The upper end of the cylinder allows access to the interior of the jacket thus formed and can be closed by, for example, a cord (3). One or more other cords (4) (5) also placed around the cylinder (1) allow the same type of tightening at one or more lower levels.
