Abstract

Device which makes it possible to lower towed vehicles. The invention relates to a device making it possible to decrease the total height of a vehicle whilst retaining a desired internal useful height. The invention consists in lowering the chassis (2) so that it overhangs at the back (5), so that a standard axle and a standard hitch can be fitted and so that the towed vehicle can be hitched at a standard height (3) without going through the use of articulated or moving parts.
