Abstract

The invention relates to a device for framing photos or other documents to be placed under glass. The actual frame 3 has a gutter 31 in its front surface, and a groove in its rear surface. A decorative element 1 is adapted to be maintained in the gutter 31 or the groove by a flexible retaining member 2. The gutter 31 has several circular grooves 32 and the retaining member 2 is approximately rectangular with a convex cross section and comprises a number of tubular fingers 22 which extend from this member and corresponding to the holes 32. The fingers 22 are adapted to be engaged in engagement with the grooves 32. The decorative element 1 is advantageously removable and interchangeable. The frame 3 may further include ferrous components in order to allow the attachment of small magnetic ornaments.

Description

The present invention relates to picture framing devices

  such as photographs, and more particularly relates to an image framing device comprising flexible holding means comprising tubular fingers, and a groove having circular grooves and in which can be engaged a decorative element. The invention
