Abstract

This installation is provided for storing, disinfecting and drying sports shoes, particularly ski boots. It comprises several storage racks (4), rolling on rails (7), whose interior is hollow. The boots (17) are supported by means of tubes (15) provided with holes (16). A single unit (8) for producing hot air for disinfection and drying moves on rails (10) and is equipped with a device (18 to 20) for rapid connection onto air inlets (13) equipping each rack (4). The disinfection and drying air can then be propelled into the boots (17) by means of their support tubes (15). A suction hood (21) permits recovery of this air and its recycling.
