Abstract

L'élément fémoral pour prothèse de hanche selon l'invention, du type de ceux comprenant une tige et un col déporté latéralement et angulairement, est remarquable en ce que la tige 1A présente un profil dégressif en direction de son extrémité libre sur les plans sagittal et frontal en combinaison avec une section transversale trapézodale progressivement décroissante et à bords arrondis.

Description

Elément fémoral pour prothèse de hanche.
L'invention concerne plus particulièrement, mais non limitativement, les tiges fémorales auto-bloquantes, déstinées à être implantées sans ciment.
On connait de nombreux types d'implants aptes à remplacer l'articulation de la hanche, dans le cas d'une arthroplastie, par exemple. Généralement, ce type d implant comprend une tige que l'on introduit dans le canal centro médullaird du fémur et un col apte à recevoir u1rectement cu d'une maniÈre rapportée, une pie ce complémentaire du type cupule qui coopère avec un anneau positionne dans la cavité cotyloïdienne de l'os iliaque.Un tel élément fémoral présente différents agenzements aptes à résoudre les principaux problèmes suivants
- bonne stabilite de l'implant
- réhabilitation osseuse
- facilité de mise en prare
- implantation sur et efficace dans le temps
En tenant compte de ces problèmes, l'invention s'est fixée pour but de réaliser un type d'implant fémoral pour l'articulation de la hanche qui proprose une solution nouvelle et avantageuse . pour résoudre ce tels problèmes.
D'une manière générale, l'invention est remarquable en ce que la tige présente un profil dégressif en direction de son extrémité libre sur les plans sagittal et frontal en combi maison avec une section transversale trapezoidale progressivement décroissante et à bords arrondis.
Pour résoudre les problèmes posés d'une bonne stabilité et de faciliter la réhabilitation osseuse, la tige présente en totalité ou en partie et sur chacune de ses faces anté rieur et postérieure, des cannelures verticales unidirection- nelles et parallèles à l'axe de symétrie.
Avantageusement les cannelures sont formées au niveau des surfaces proximales antérieure et postérieure de la tige.
Chaque cannelure est séparée par une rainure de même profondeur et de section transversale arrondie.
Pour résoudre avantageusement le problème de faciliter la réhabilitation osseuse, la tige est soumise, en totalité ou en partie, à un traitement de surface apte à lui conférer un effet de rugosité.
Dans ce dernier cas, en ayant pour but de faciliter l'incroduction de la tige dans le canal médulaire du fémur, le traitement de surface est effectué au niveau de la partie proximale de la tige présentant les canelures, l'autre partie de la tige étant lisse.

Afin de rendre plus concret l'obJet de l'invention, on i cécrit maintenant d'une manière non limitative, en se référant aux exemples de réalisation des figures des dessins.
L'élément fémoral désigné dans son ensemble par (1), comprend d'une manière connue, une tige (lA) et un col (lB), déporté latéralement et angulairement.
Le col (lB) est destiné à recevoir directement ou d'une manière reportée une pièce complémentaire du type cupule.
Selon l'invention, la tige (lA) présente un profil dégressif, en direction de son extrémité libre, sur les plans sagittal et frontal (figure 1).
Un tel profil est très sensiblement symétrique par rapport à l'axe médian vertical (XX').
Avantageusement son profil est combiné avec la section transversale de la tige qui est trapézoïdale en étant progressivement décroissante, depuis sa partie supérieure au nivela du col (lB), Jusquà son extrémité libre (lc).
Comme le montre la figure 3, les aretes de la tige sont arrondies.
Avantageusement, la tige (lA) présente en totalité ou en partie et sur chacune de ses faces antérieure et postérieure, des cannelures verticales (lD).
Ces cannelures sont unidirectionnelles et parallèles à l'axe de symétrie (XX').

Suivant une autre caracteristique, et dans le but notamment d'améliorer la réhabilitation osseuse, la tige (lA), est soumise en totalité ou en partie à un traitement de surface, apte à lui conférer une certaine rugosité.
D'une manière préférée, ce traitement de surface est limité à la partie proximale de la tige présentant les cannelures (il).
Dans la forme de réalisation illustrée, l'autre partie de la tife (lE) est lisse.
Il en résulte avantageusement, que la partie lisse (lE) facilite l'introduction dans le canal médulaire de l'os, tandis que la partie supérieure de ladite tige, en combinaison avec les cannelures proximales (lD) et l'état de surface rugeux évite toute rotation de la tige et facilite la réhabilitation osseuse.
D'une manière connue, le traitement de surfaces peut être obtenu par tous moyens appropriés tel que sablage.
Les avantages ressortent bien de la description.

Claims (6)

    REVENDICATIONS
  1. -1- Elément fémoral pour prothèse de hanche du type de ceux comprenant une tige et un col déporté latéralement et angulairement caractérisé en ce que la tige (1A) présente un profil dégressif en direction de son extrémité libre sur les plans sagittal et frontal en combinaison avec une section transversale trapézoïdale progressivement décroissante et à bords ar froncis.
  2. -2- Elément selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce que la tige (lA) présente en totalité ou en partie, et sur chacune de ses faces antérieure et postérieure, des cannelures verticales (1D) unidirectionnelles et parallèles à l'axe de symétrie.
  3. -3- Elément selon la revendication 2, caractérisé en ce que les cannelures sont formées au niveau des surfaces proximales antérieuse et postérieure de la tige.
  4. -4- Elément selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 3, caractérisé en ce que chaque cannelure (ID) est séparée par une rainure (lDl), de même profondeur et de section transversale arrcnd#e.
  5. -5- dément selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 et 2, carac-érlsé en ce que la tige est soumise, en totalité ou en partie, à un traitement de surface apte à lui conférer un effet de ruwcsité.
  6. -6- Elément selon les revendication 3 et 5 ensembles, caractérisé en ce que le traitement de surface est effectué au niveau de la partie proximale de tige présentant les cannelures, l'autre partie de la tige étant lisse.
