Abstract

Procédé pour la coulée continue d'acier selon lequel l'acier en fusion s'écoule à partir d'un réservoir de distribution (avant-creuset) dans une coquille de coulée continue refroidie en passant par une busette de coulée et selon lequel la barre d'acier produite présente dans sa section transversale une composition chimique variable. Des éléments d'addition sous forme de fil sont introduits en continu et à vitesse contrôlée par le haut dans la coquille de coulée continue et ces éléments d'addition fondent au voisinage du niveau d'acier liquide au maximum jusqu'à une profondeur correspondant à la profondeur de pénétration du tube plongeur de coulée.
