Abstract

Liquid composition for foot hygiene and care, as well as a process for preparing it. The liquid composition is intended for eliminating the unpleasant odour of feet by acting on the causes of this unpleasant odour. This liquid composition, devoid of all so-called perfuming products, consists, as a guide, per 100 ml, of: As antiseptic and disinfectant ingredients: - 90 DEG or 95 DEG strength ethyl alcohol 76.25 ml - formalin (40 % solution of formaldehyde in water) 23.75 ml As astringent ingredients: - Cynorrhodon (fruit) 15 g - Hamamelis (leaf) 1.5 g - tannin 2.5 g The crushed Cynorrhodon fruits and Hamamelis leaves macerate, depending on the amounts used, for 120 to 168 hours in 90 DEG or 95 DEG ethyl alcohol before the addition of the tannin and of the final mixture to the formalin. The containers used are made of glass. According to the invention, this liquid composition is intended especially for disinfecting the feet and the inner soles of shoes and for reducing sweating of the feet.
