Abstract

The present invention relates to an aluminium rail-vehicle body comprising, in the region of the floor, two resistant strong longitudinal elements 2, in the region of the roof two other resistant strong longitudinal elements 4, and in the region of the faces vertical metal columns framing the doors; the roof, floor, faces and ends consisting of panels 10, characterised in that at least one of these panels is formed from multi-tubular sections 11 joined on edge one after the other and welded to one another.
