Abstract

The invention relates to a device making it possible to collect stools (excrement) from dogs who soil pavements and green spaces in towns. It consists of a casing 4, onto which is fitted a handle 1. On this handle is fitted an operating lever 2, to which is connected a cable 10 guided by a sheath 3. When the lever is squeezed, it tensions the cable which lowers the flap 9. In order to close the flap, the lever 2 is gradually released. The flap is returned to its initial position by springs 12 which hold it closed. The stools (excrement) then fall into the container 14. The device according to the invention is intended in particular for any dog owner needing to collect the stools (excrement) of the animal using the apparatus.
