Abstract

A safety power-supply device includes a socket (female connector body) 1 having two socket contacts 3, 4 and an earth pin 30 which are respectively connected to two power-supply leads 5, 6 and to an earth lead, as well as a plug (male connector body) 2 having two pins 13, 14 and an earth socket contact 33. A contact 8 controlled by a relay member 9 is arranged on one of the power-supply leads 5. The control unit for the relay member 9 is connected, on the one hand, to a terminal of the secondary of a transformer 32 and, on the other hand, to the earth lead 31 via a magnetic contact 10 housed in the earth pin 30. The plug (male connector body) 2 includes a permanent magnet 17 housed in the vicinity of the earth socket contact 33.
