Abstract

The present invention relates to a device for the flow of a fluid in a duct which can be closed off by a flap. This device essentially comprises a channel 1 made directly through the spindle 6 of a flap or butterfly 2 mounted rotationally in a duct 3, whilst a set screw 4 is engaged in a tapped hole made in the spindle 6 to allow the flow rate of fluid passing through the channel 1 to be adjusted when the flap or butterfly 2 is in the closing off position. This device applies in particular to the butterfly casings and idling jets in internal combustion engines.
