Abstract

System for the automatic return of balls on a golf training area known as a "practice" area. It consists of a combination of platforms and of paired inverse slope channels which permit the automatic return of the balls as far as an outlet placed close to the mats, the zone where the balls are struck.

Description

The object of this invention relates to an automatic return system of golf balls on the training ground called practice.

Up to now, this practice has been carried out from a natural grassed field, of variable dimensions in width but identical in length 200 meters with markings using an indicator panel for the 50, 100 and 150 meters, allowing the player to appreciate the distance traveled by his ball.

Several times a day, a man and a machine are used to pick up all the balls scattered on the driving range.

Now, thanks to this invention, no more constraints of this type.

The balls return automatically to their starting point (such as at bowling) and the player can perfectly follow his ball without being bothered by other balls.

More maintenance because the structure of the platform is made of synthetic foam allowing better ball circulation.

Objective: Maximum functioning of the driving range and therefore better profitability (reduction of charges) on a surface which represents the basis of the warm-up of any beginner or confirmed golfer.

This system is therefore intended for all public or private golf courses, and must make it possible to practice, an autonomous cell, without personnel, machine and maintenance costs.

Consider that the golteur no longer has in front of him a single length of 200 meters but 4 platforms of 50 meters in length each: 0-50 meters, 50-100 meters 100-I 50 meters and 150-200 meters.

These 4 platforms have a slope of 0.5 cm / m directed in the opposite direction, 2 to 2.

To keep this slope without risk of erosion due to gully phenomena, each platform, previously stripped (cut AA 6), is backfilled with sand (cut AA 5), then covered with a polyane (cut AA 2), which will ensure good evacuation of rainwater without deformation of the initial shape.

To allow better play comfort, the entire surface is covered with a light PVC mesh on which is fixed a sheet of green polyurethane foam to recall the color of the original lawn (cut AA 1).

Due to the gradient of platforms 2 to 2, in the opposite direction, the balls collected in a drain (3) of approximately 200 in diameter at the lines of and 150 meters.

These drains, themselves in the opposite direction, circulate the bales towards a central pipe (9), made of concrete of about 400 in diameter, held on a bed of mortar at the bottom of a buried trench. this pipe, a manhole (dimensions about 40 x 40) is made on the single line of the 50 meters, this pipe being in the open air on the 150m line.

All the bales return to the starting point in an outlet (12), for example a grid view allowing the collection of all the bales.

Therefore, each player can from his stack (detail B 8), be supplied with balls without taking the risk of generating his neighbor.

The starting area (detail B 7) is raised to allow good evacuation of balls on the first. platform (0-50 meters).

Claims 1 - System for automatic return of balls to a golf training area, characterized by the fact that it is produced from platforms associated in pairs having a declivity going in the opposite direction. 2 - System according to claim 1, characterized in that it has drains (3) in the opposite direction to return the golf balls to the center of the area and a buried central pipe (9) ensuring the return of the balls in an outlet (12) placed near the carpets (8). 3 - System according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the platforms have a coating for good drainage of rainwater, without deformation of the initial shape.
