Abstract

The invention relates to a velodrome having a timber track and framework which will make it possible to develop such installations because of its simple and robust design and of reduced production and maintenance costs, and which can be moved and reassembled at a lower cost, thus making it possible to avoid <<land obstruction>> and to manage more efficiently the ever changing urban fabric. It is made up of a dismantlable timber framework receiving on its upper member 1 a timber track consisting of panels of plywood with impermeable gluing which are assembled in three sheets 17, 20, 21, by means of grooves and tongues 18 bis or by means of plastic false tongues 18. The first sheet of panels being fixed by means of special hooks 17 bis. These hooks make it possible to detach the track from the framework, which, when divided up to transportable dimensions, can be reinstalled in another location. The reassembly operation being carried out by means of grooves and T-shaped plastic false tongues 30.
