Cet inhibiteur de corrosion est essentiellement constitué d'une solution aqueuse contenant de 18 à 22% en poids d'héxaméthylène tétramine et de 5 à 7% en poids d'un alcool alpha-acétylénique. De façon préférée, l'alcool alpha-acétylénique est le propyne-2-01-1.
