Abstract

Device for filtering exhaust gases. The invention relates to the possibility of reducing the toxicity of exhaust gases using a simple and inexpensive appliance which can be fitted to the exhaust pipe of all internal combustion engines. It consists of a tubular body fitting over or into the exhaust pipe and containing a filtering element which can be exchanged quickly, by virtue of an unscrewable part fitted with a perforated screen.
