Abstract

L'INVENTION CONCERNE UN DISPOSITIF MECANIQUE PERMETTANT L'ELASTICITE D'UN ANNEAU VISSE. IL EST CONSTITUE DE FENTES1, 2, 3 DE 1MM DE LARGEUR ET 18MM DE LONGUEUR DISPOSEES A 120 PAR RAPPORT AU CENTRE DE L'ANNEAU. LE DISPOSITIF SELON L'INVENTION EST PARTICULIEREMENT DESTINE AUX ANNEAUX VISSES UTILISES COMME COTYLES DANS LES INTERVENTIONS CHIRURGICALES DE LA HANCHE.

Description

L'utilisation d'anneaux vissés comme cotyles artificiels lors d'une reconstruction totale de la hanche se généralise de plus en plus.
L'anneau qui se visse permet un ancrage parfait dans la cavité cotyloidienne sans avoir recours à un ciment de liaison os/implant. Durant les périodes d'activité l'ensemble des os d'unsquelette subissent des déformations proportionnelles aux efforts fournis; chaque activité focalisant une zône du squelette. C'est ici le cas du bassin qui, suivant l'effort accompli, marche par exemple, se déformera de plusieurs dizièmes de millimètres pour, finalement après cessation des efforts, retrouver sa géométrie initiale.
Visser un anneau, rigide de par sa conception, c'est dès le départ associer un ensemble élastique à un ensemble rigide, ce qui à'la longue provoque une mauvaise tenue de l'implant dans la cavité osseuse.
Par contre, l'utilisation d'un anneau vissé élastique absorbant les déformations du bassin durant la période d'effort et retrouvant sa géométrie initiale après cessation de ces efforts atténue les descellements dans le temps.
La présente invention illustrée par les figures I et 2 consiste donc en un anneau vissé élastique comprenant 3 fentes (I, 2, 3) de largeur Imm et de longueur I8mm, disposées à 1200 par rapport au centre de l'anneau (4).
L'anneau dit élastique se place dans la cavité cotyloidienne comme tous les anneaux déjà existants, à l'aide n1 instruments ancillaires prévus à cet effet. La pièce de friction (5) en matière plastique venant s'insérer dans la cavité interne de l'anneau pourra alors remplir correctement son rôle, qui est dtassurer une friction minimum entre elle et la tête fémorale, sans subir les sollicitations dues aux déformations du bassin, celles-ci étant absorbées par l'anneau élastique.
En effet, le rôle des fentes (I,2, 3) situées sur la périphérie de l'anneau, est de permettre aux 3 segments de de se resserer suivant l'intensité de l'effort, puis lorsque l'effort redevient nul de retrouver la forme initiale grâce à l'élasticité du métal. Pendant cette phase de travail la pièce de friction n'a subi aucune contrainte localisée génératrice de dégradation prématurée du plastique; de plus les contraintes de l'interface os/métal ne sont plus différentes mais semblables.
Le nombre des fentes ainsi que leurs dimensions peuvent être modifiés.

Claims (2)

REVENDICATIONS
1- Anneau élastique remplissant la fonction de cotyle artificiel, caractérisé par la présence de fentes en nombre et en dimensions variables, disposées à des endroits et selon des directions variables mais déterminées par le fait qu'elles permettent l'absortion des déformations du bassin du patient de taille et de poids quelconque.
2- Anneau élastique selon la revendication l, caractérisé par une disposition géométrique des fentes (1,2,3) disposées sur la périphérie du dit anneau, ces fentes sont disposées à 1200 par rapport au centre de l'anneau (4).
