Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a device intended to cause the departure of intruders (humans or noxious animals) from a room to be protected, this device being able to be used either as an anti-theft siren or as an electronic anti-rat.
Traditionally the anti-theft sirens connected to alarm systems are sirens emitting a powerful sound on a frequency which makes it audible not only inside but also outside the room to be protected, thus alerting the whole neighborhood. the purpose of causing intervention against the intruder; however, on the one hand this intervention is very ra @@ due to the fear of the thief, on the other hand untimely triggers are so frequent and inevitable that any triggering of an alarm siren is now assimilated to an untimely triggering and no longer elicits an active reaction from neighbors. Hence the practical uselessness of these sirens added to the real nuisance effect due to the numerous untimely triggers, having led the prefectural services to subject these alarm installations to an installation authorization which is rarely granted, and to impose fines in the event of untimely triggering. On the other hand, we use chas @ er mice and rats powerful ultrasonic sirens, which acting on the nervous system of the nervous system of the rat causes a reflex of panic and therefore of escape, However in this case also we come up against the disadvantage of an efficiency limited to the room where the device is located, and at a cost price too high if we must place a device in each room of the room to be protected.
The device according to the invention makes it possible to remedy all of these
disadvantages using a single versatile device. I
The device includes a siren emitting a very intense noise but at a very high frequency (almost inaudible but very painful for the human ear). Clear siren is placed in the places to be protected and not outside. The sound put on is practically not heard from outside the room, even when it is used as an anti-theft alarm siren; a sound adjustment switch allows this multiple use as required, as anti-theft or anti-rat. ü a recessed socket in the siren box allows direct connection to any socket without any wire. We can thus connect a siren by existing socket in the room, each of these sirens can operate independently of the others and at a different frequency if longed for. The effect produced in this way with several devices is absolutely unbearable for the thief or the rat as it is so haunting; it also makes it impossible to locate the device, and disturbs his hearing to the point that he can no longer monitor noises coming from inside; it therefore causes his immediate departure from places thus protected by a natural reflex.
According to a preferred embodiment the device consists of an independent box with wall outlet, nt operating only in 22û Volts, allowing its immediate installation, without any connection to wires.
According to a variant, the device can be provided with a cadmium-nickel battery with permanent supply system and with an output allowing its connection in series on an alarm system.
