Abstract

The subject of the invention is a tap intended to interrupt the circulation of a fluid in a pipe. According to the invention, the tap is composed of a body, or metal overall shell 1, of flattened circular shape, hollowed out in its central part, and provided with a central channel passing through in the longitudinal direction, having a narrowed extension, or neck 2, at its upper end which neck is hollowed out in its internal part 4 and which, on the outside, is flattened into a head or flange 3 and provided with a central spindle 5 which emerges to the outside, on its upper end side and which comprises a central part 8 of smaller diameter and which is provided with a butterfly valve 14 housed in the central hollow.
