Abstract

The invention relates to an improved device for paying out continuous webs to be cut, in particular webs of paper. This pay-out device comprises a casing 1 forming a magazine 3 for a web in the concertina-folded state, a web-outlet opening S, cutting means 14 located in the vicinity of this opening and web-dispensing means 2 which are adapted so as to retain the end engaged in the passage opening and to enable a length of web to be unwound outwards.
