Abstract

Item of furniture characterised in that it has the form of a cash desk (counter) 1, with a raised edge 2, the front face of which is provided with a projecting bag holder 3 and pigeonholes 4 for unused game slips, as well as a front window 5 extending over a portion of the length of its upper part, and with a frame 6 for an advertising support on the remaining part, this cash desk (counter) 1 comprising, moreover, a work area 7 behind the front window 5 intended to receive a validating machine and equipped with a cutout 8 for receiving one or more validated-slip containers, an inclined movable writing-desk section 9, which is raised relative to the work area 7, with a document-stop profile 10 at the bottom and a banknote passage slot 11 at the top, the banknotes being received in a note drawer 12 arranged in the space underneath the writing-desk section and accessible from the rear face of the item of furniture, a lockable cash drawer 13 mounted on slides and a pull-out leaf 14 mounted on slides with a cutout 15 for one or more validated-slip containers.

Description

 The present invention relates to the field of furniture for professional use and relates to a piece of furniture, in particular for the validation of lotto bulletins.

 Currently, the validation of lotto ballots, or other game bulletins such as PMU tickets is generally carried out by means of special machines placed on a table or counter near a cash drawer. Blank newsletters or tickets are stored in independent distributors' lockers also provided near the validation machine.

 In these known embodiments, the machine remains within reach of the players, who could thus carry out illegal validations. In addition, the cash drawer is easily accessible to potential thieves, and the dispenser lockers can easily be moved out of the reach of the machine operator.

 The present invention aims to overcome these drawbacks.

 Its purpose is in fact a piece of furniture, in particular for the validation of lotto bulletins, characterized in that it is in the form of a counter, with raised edge, the front face of which is provided with a holder. protruding bag and blank game lockers as well as a front window extending over a portion of the length of its upper part, and a frame for advertising support on the remaining portion, this counter comprising, in in addition, a work surface behind the front glass intended for the reception of a validating machine, and provided with a cut-out for the reception of one or more validated bulletins, a mobile writing desk inclined raised above the work plan , with a document stop profile in the lower part and a bank note passage slot in the upper part, which are received in a cash drawer arranged in the space under the writing desk and accessible from the rear side of the cabinet , a key cash drawer mounted on r runners, a puller mounted on runners with cutout for one or more validated bulletins, and one or more vertical partitions cooperating with mobile shelves to form shelving in the lower part of the cabinet.

 The invention will be better understood thanks to the following description which relates to preferred embodiments, given by way of nonlimiting examples, and explained with reference to the appended schematic drawings, in which FIG. 1 is a view in perspective of a piece of furniture according to the invention, FIG. 2 is a rear view, on a smaller scale, of the piece of furniture according to FIG. 1, and FIG. 3 is a view similar to that of FIG. 1 of variant.

 In accordance with the invention, and as shown more particularly, by way of example, FIGS. 1 and 2 of the appended drawings, the piece of furniture, in particular for the validation of lotto ballots is essentially constituted in the form of a counter 1 with raised edge 2, the front face of which is provided with a projecting bag holder 3 and lockers 4 with blank game cards arranged above the level of the bag holder 3, as well as a front window 5, which extends over a portion of the length of the upper part, and a frame 6 for advertising medium extending over the remaining portion of said upper part.

 Behind the front window 5, a work surface 7 is provided for the reception of a validating machine, provided with a cutout 8 for the installation of one or more bins for receiving validated bulletins. Next to the work surface 7, raised relative to the latter, and behind the frame 6 is provided a movable and inclined writing desk 9, the lower part of which is provided with a document stop 10, while at its upper part a slot 11 for the passage of banknotes is provided, which are received in a cash drawer 12 accessible from the rear face of the cabinet and placed in the space under the writing desk 9 at the work surface 7.

 In the lower part of the cabinet according to the invention, under the work surface 7 are provided a key cash drawer 13 mounted on slides, a pull tab 14 mounted on slides and comprising a cutout 15 for one or more validated bulletins.

 In its lower part, the cabinet according to the invention is provided with a vertical separation 16 which allows, in cooperation with mobile shelves 17, the formation of shelving, for example for the storage of a large stock of blank ballots .

 The bag holder 3 is advantageously removably mounted on the front face of the cabinet. Thus, during handling, the size of the furniture can be reduced, for example to facilitate the passage of doors.

 Above the front window 5 are advantageously provided two horizontal windows 18 superimposed whose lower window is movable, for example sliding, to allow the introduction of various ballots or tickets, such as national lottery tickets, raffle tickets , or the like.

 According to a characteristic of the invention, the piece of furniture is provided with an electrical equipment not represented constituted by an outlet for the validation machine, by a power cord, and by a lighting device with switch incorporated in the bag holder 3.

 FIG. 3 represents an alternative embodiment of the invention, in which an additional storage element 19 is added to the counter 1 and comprises additional sliding drawers 20 and in its lower part of the shelves 21, as well as a side unpacking pull tab 22.

 Thanks to the piece of furniture according to the invention, the players can easily follow the validation operation of their bulletin through the glass 5, and the operator finds all the elements necessary for his work at hand, while being better protected against possible attacks or against disputed validation operations. In addition, the lockers 4 with blank game cards allow a clear presentation of the latter without the risk of malicious removal from the counter.

 Of course, the invention is not limited to the embodiments described and shown in the accompanying drawings. Modifications remain possible, in particular from the point of view of the constitution of the various elements, or by substitution of technical equivalents, without thereby departing from the scope of protection of the invention.

Furniture, in particular for the validation of lotto bulletins, characterized in that it is in the form of a counter (1), with raised edge (2), the front face of which is provided with a holder protruding bag (3) and blank game bins (4) as well as a front window (5) extending over a portion of the length of its upper part, and a frame (6) for advertising medium on the remaining portion, this counter (1) further comprising a work surface (7) behind the front glass (5) intended for the reception of a validating machine, and provided with a cutout (8) for the reception of one or more validated bulletins, a mobile writing desk (9) inclined, raised relative to the work surface (7), with a document stop profile (10) in the lower part and a slot (11) for passing banknotes in the upper part, which are received in a cash drawer (12) arranged in the space under the writing desk and accessible from the rear face of the m euble, a key cash drawer (13) mounted on runners, a pull tab (14) mounted on runners, with cutout (15) for one or more validated bulletins, and one or more vertical partitions (16) cooperating with mobile shelves (17) to form a shelf in the lower part of the cabinet.  2. Furniture according to claim 1, characterized in that the bag holder (3) is advantageously removably mounted on the front face of the furniture.  3.
