Abstract

The instrument is for cosmetic and capillary treatment, or medical treatment of the skin. It produces microscopic scars or massage lines, using components (3) designed for use once only. The component (3) consists of a toothed disc 0.1 to 0.5 mm thick and between 10 and 50mm diameter, cut out from a stainless steel plate and with a tongue detached after fitting. A separating washer (4) is used to regulate the distance between the toothed discs.

Description

 The present invention relates to a device for medical or cosmetic treatment of the skin covering.

It includes an element whose manufacturing characteristics allow single use, thus avoiding the risks of microbial and viral spread.

 The device comprises one or more serrated discs with a thickness of 0, imm at 0.5 mm, and with a diameter varying from 10 mm to 50 mm, arranged between one or more spacers, with a thickness varying from 4 mm to 10 mm, and with a diameter of 0.2MM to 2mm smaller than that of the discs. The assembly adapted on an axis is fixed to a handle so as to roll the ends of the stars on the skin to obtain the desired effect.

 This device makes it possible to produce micro-pressures or micro-wounds on the skin, depending on the diameter of the spacers, promoting the stimulation of the tanned functions, and, optionally the absorption and diffusion of cosmetic or medicinal substances, before or subsequently applied.

 This device is essentially characterized by a sterile serrated disc which has a tongue to be detached after assembly, of which different types of technological achievements are possible. In the present invention, this element is manufactured by the -ddcoupa6e ss of a plate 0.2 mm thick, made of stainless steel coded Z8 C17.

Other steels can be used or other materials such as stamped or molded plastic.

 This element is sterilized with ethylene oxide gas or equivalent, to be packaged in a packaging allowing the long preservation of sterility.

 This device is also characterized by its cosmetic or medical use, depending on the difference in diameter between the stars and the spacers.

 The free end of the stars less than 0.8mm causes micro-pressures when the device is pushed, without pressing, along the skin or scalp. This movement, repeated several times, performs a micro-massage, promotes and prolongs the effect of the applied cosmetic substances.

 The free end of stars larger than 0.8mm causes micro-wounds when the device is moved along the skin, exerting more or less pressure on the handle. These micro-wounds achieve a zonal stimulotherapy effect and allow the introduction into the dermis of medicinal products # ux, chosen according to the pathology to be treated, and applied beforehand to the skin or scalp.

 We will now describe with reference to the drawing below and without limitation, an example of implementation of the device of the invention.

The device represented in the figure comprises: - A plastic handle provided with a fixed axis (2) made of stainless steel, the end of which is threaded, on which are attached one or more sterile serrated discs (3), of a diameter interior larger by 2 / 10th of a mm in relation to the axis (2).

In this way, the discs will be able to rotate freely around the axis (2).

- Between the two discs is added a stainless steel washer (4) serving both as a spacer across its width, and as a depth stop on its outside diameter. The inside diameter is larger by 2 / 10th of a mm to allow rotation with the serrated discs (3), around the axis (3).

- Finally, to retain the assembly, a plastic plug (5) provided at its inner end with a tapped hole. It is screwed on the axis which exceeds it by one mm (2), to allow the spacer (4) and the serrated discs (3) to be able to turn on the axis (2), once the cap (5) blocked.

 From the explanations given above, the operation of the device which has just been described is obvious.

 When the device is applied to the skin by the user who operates it by holding it by the handle, the serrated free end of the discs will cause micro-pressures or micro-wounds on the skin, producing an effect local skin stimulation.

 Of course, the present invention is in no way limited to the embodiment described and shown.

In particular, it includes all the means constituting technical equivalents of the means described or the like, as well as the combinations if these are carried out according to its purpose and implemented in the context of the claims which follow.

R E tr E N D I C A T I O N S  1 - Device for cosmetic and hair care or for medical treatment of the skin, characterized in that it comprises means for producing micro-wounds or micro-massages with an element whose manufacturing method allows single use. 2 - Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the single-use element has a form of serrated disc with a thickness of O- * l to 0.5mm and a diameter varying from 10 to 50mm. 3 - Device according to claims 1 and 2, in that the serrated disc is iicod4 in a stainless steel plate and has a tongue to be detached after mounting. 4 - Device according to claim 1 characterized in that the length of the ends of the serrated disc is adjusted by the diameter of the spacers.
