Abstract

The anti theft mounting is for a lamp fitting in public places. A protective cover fits around the lamp and has a hook (24) which enters a hole (30) in the locking plate (14). A strip (32) is fitted to the locking plate wall, and is fixed by a tamper resistant screw (40). The structure moves sideways to place the hook in position on the edge of the hole. There are two rigid U-pieces (20) of wire, joined by welded wire stays (22). One U end is bent to a hook form and the other houses the screw.
