Abstract

The end-tackle is used on a windsurfer's traction harness, incorporating two tied (1) detachable straps (S) with the distance between adjusted to suit wind conditions. A coupling (C) is used to make the adjustment, incorporating two barrels which locate the fixed (2) and free slidable (6) ends of the tie rope. The coupling barrel may use a groove to effect a wedge-locking of the free end, its counterpart using two grooves to locate a fixed end noose. The fitting may have a hole by which it is lashed (5) to the 'wishbone' (W) and the tie rope (1) may have two knots which locate the fixed end relative to the relevant strap.

L'invention concerne des perfectionnements apportés aux dispositifs du harnais qui sont utilisés notamment dans la pratique de la navigation de la planche à voile. The invention relates to improvements made to the harness devices which are used in particular in the practice of sailing windsurfing.
