Abstract

The suitcases form a set and each is made of a single shell which is bevelled on three lateral faces, to form a continuous line when they are superposed. Each is closed by a plate which forms the base and presses against supple corner pieces to make it watertight. The lock is fitted into the base plate and is inaccessible when they are superposed. Four projections on top of the case prevent straps slipping and two of them cover the opening button of the case above. When the cases are empty they can fit inside each other.
