Abstract

The flat solar heat collector is designed to fit into industrial type corrugated roofs without interrupting the profile. The required area of roofing material is removed and replaced by a transparent section of similar profile. The solar panel is mounted beneath the transparent panel and consists of a collector tube under each undulation of the roof structure and supported on an insulated matt-black panel. A greenhouse effect is obtained by virtue of the air space between the transparent panel and the water/thermal fluid tubes. The principle can be adapted to suit frames of differing profiles.

Description

a) Self-supporting solar collector, integrated into roofs
in materials and corrugated sheets.

b) The main feature is to remove a plate
cover a roof and replace it with another of
same type but translucent which constitutes the cap cover
tor which is fixed under this plate.

c) This device aims to avoid the disadvantages of having to insert
installing a flat collector on a roof which is unsightly.

d) This device can be used on all roofs in
corrugated sheets (example factory, hangar, etc ...) e) This sheet must be made knowing the conformity of the roof and
in mechanically translucent material strong enough to
support the sensor.

f) Figures 1 and 2 are types of corrugated roofing that
can be used for this job. The top view represents a
roof with integrated sensors.

Claims (1)

Device for integrating a solar collector into a corrugated roof thanks to the self-supporting translucent cover of said collector. The cover of the collector can be made of various materials offering the main characteristics of the same shape as the roof, of beech mechanically strong enough to support a collector and translucent enough to let the sun's rays pass.
