Abstract

A portable shower is supplied by water from a flexible plastic reservoir having two compartments linked by tube of flexible plastic film. The shower is supplied from the smaller of the two compartments, in which the wt. of one person will generate sufficient pressure to raise the water to the required height. The flexible tube acts as a non-return valve, recharging the smaller compartment from the larger, but preventing back flow when the smaller is pressurised. Esp. convenient for camping, being light, flexible, portable and not requiring a power supply. It is operated with a foot on each compartment and shifting one's wt. from one foot to the other alternately. Claims reservoirs made of plasticised PVC thin film.
