Abstract

The electronic circuit cover is stamped out of plastic and has locations for a circuit, and a lid so that the circuit may be inserted inside the cover. The lid is welded to the cover and has a series of holes in it for contacts to enter. The lid is formed at the same time as the cover and is connected to it along one edge. Lugs formed on the inside of the lid serve to separate pegs intended as contacts and serve as attachment points for ultrasonic welding.
